I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Panda Express (Washington, DC) in Nov 2015
Interview
There are 3 interviews in total. 2 interviews with a area coach of operation and a training leader, 1 on-job-preview to see performance.
I did the first interview with area coach of operation. The interview includes introducing myself, go over the resume, and what I can bring to Panda, what my previous experiences are. The area coach of operation also told me that working in Panda Express involves a lot of physical work.
The second interview was with a training leader. Same interview questions plus a question on how to deal with angry customers and steps to cook a dish. This one was a bit difficult and intense, but overall good.
The third interview was a on-job-preview. I was sent to a store to work/train for 8 hours with a training leader. The purpose of this interview was to see my ability, and to see if i fit the job. It also provided me a overlook of how working in Panda looks and feels like.
I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Panda Express (Burien, WA) in Oct 2024
Interview
Lengthy conversation with Training Manager and Area Manager. May be invited to working interview with trainer to show off skills. Job offer after if you are acceptable. Area Manager looked like they needed sleep and was very unenthusiastic. The training manager seemed upbeat and eager to interview. Debra Lee is a joke. You will be bombarded with questions, it doesn't matter how you answer, Debra decided when you sat down.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What are your 3 main values? How do you achieve these in your daily life? Standard questions and then weirdly invasive ones.

Interview
Good interview process so far. Couple of interview then they do a hands on w lariat ion in store. After that they do final interview with Regional operations manager. It seems like a lot but they seem to want only top talent.
