Panda Restaurant Group Line Cook interview questions

This location had opened interviews happening so I had to wait for one of their managers to come around to interview me after checking in. The interview started off well but very quickly became highly inappropriate. This "manager" was asking incredibly personal questions. Asking about why my parents aren't around, my financial situation now since I left my last job and why I didn't "suck it up" for the well being of my family. Asked why I didn't apply for a higher position than entry level since I had an extensive history in the industry and as I try to sell him on the idea that I was very much open to that if it was avaliable he told me they never hire anything other than entry level. Increíbly unprofessional behavior.

extremely informal interview, essentially a conversation with the manager regarding past experience and shift flexibility. there were no formal questions, background checks, hr, or salary negotiations. really not sure what else to say it's a simple line cook position all you need is 2 hands and a pulse
