I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Panera Bread (Tampa, FL) in May 2021
Interview
I applied online and was invited to schedule an interview a few days later (the store was holding a hiring event/open interviews later on in the day, but I had an appointment so I am not sure if the interview experience differs).
After I checked in, I was given a cup to get a drink of my choice and sit in the dining area. The interviewer came and introduced themselves and sat with me shortly after. They were friendly and seemed interested in making me feel comfortable. They had a clipboard with some standard questions (see below).
After that I got to ask questions and they told me more details about the job duties, benefits, and training process. We chatted a bit more and then I was offered the position. Next they will be completing the background check and scheduling a time to fill out paperwork before training begins.

Question 1
What is your availability/are you available for the times/shifts of this position?
It was fairly easy. Some behavior questions and questions about hobbies. They also asked me if I had any food service experience. Overall, it wasn't a bad gig between jobs.
Applied online, got a phone call to meet at a cafe, interviewed, got an offer, and accepted the job offer. Then scheduled training and orientation. Pretty easy process, except it is 3rd shift.
Very easy. My previous manager became the bakery manager so they already knew me. I contacted her and we arranged a phone call so we could talk about the position and see if it was a good match. It worked out really well for me then I was able to start soon after.
