I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Panera Bread in Mar 2015
Interview
One day after applying I received a phone call to set up an interview. I was told Night Baker positions were filled but they wanted to interview me for Day Baker. Two days later I go to my first interview and the Manager says there aren't any Baker positions available but he would like to offer me an "opening" position from 5am to 1pm. The interview lasted 20 minutes. Two days after that I went to my second interview with a different Manager. He tells me that they aren't hiring at all, but would like to keep in contact for future open positions. I was informed that an "Associates" position is only paid $8.00 an hr. "Opening" positions are paid a little more, and Bakers are paid a lot more. This interview was quite informative about the company itself, it's practices, and the functions of each position. Everyone I met there was really great but I felt quite jerked around, by going to these interviews and being told different information about what positions were open by 3 different Managers, being offered a job, and then not being offered a job at all.

Just a general interview, didn't ask at all about the position I applied for though so that was upsetting. Seemed relaxed but gave no info on when a second interview would happen
