I applied through other source. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Panera Bread (Lockport, NY) in Sep 2011
Interview
Unlike any interview I've ever had. Offered my anything i wanted to try. We sat, ate, and chatted about the job. Exchanged question and it was done. They were very friendly and made me feel like they wanted me to be part of the family. After that it was just a background check left to do and that took about a week.
It was fairly easy. Some behavior questions and questions about hobbies. They also asked me if I had any food service experience. Overall, it wasn't a bad gig between jobs.
Applied online, got a phone call to meet at a cafe, interviewed, got an offer, and accepted the job offer. Then scheduled training and orientation. Pretty easy process, except it is 3rd shift.
Very easy. My previous manager became the bakery manager so they already knew me. I contacted her and we arranged a phone call so we could talk about the position and see if it was a good match. It worked out really well for me then I was able to start soon after.
