Interview
I approached the General Manager when I was in the career search hunt. I was looking for a complete change to my current situation in sales. He was open, friendly, honest and sincere with his answers to my many questions about his cafe' and my possibility to fit into their needs as an employee and possibility to advance quickly with my previous experience in management. I applied online and stopped in 2 times, talked to two different assistant managers to get an interview appointment asap. This Manager relied on first impressions and had a casual approach to the interview, we sat at a table in the dining room and basically asked each other questions about expectations and the opportunity that I was looking for. I was hired on the spot as an associate with the promise of advancing quickly if my skills proved my ability.
