The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Paramount (New York, NY) in Apr 2011
Interview
Initial phone interview with internal recruiter, then onsite interview with recruiter and hiring manager. Once onsite, i as asked to complete a paper application (very old fashioned). Interview with recruiter was 30-40 minutes, asked general questions, nothing too challenging. Interview with hiring manager was about 75-90 minutes. When I left the interview at about 5:30, the elevator was packed - it was definitely the time people left the office.
The post interview communication leaves a lot to be desired.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
There wasn't anything beyond very typical interview questions: what are you currently doing, why do you want to leave, etc.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Paramount (Los Angeles, CA) in Dec 2021
Interview
The recruiter failed to introduce herself or talk about the role and the company. She only asked two questions, and after five minutes, the interview ended. I have been in the HR role for over 5yrs, and I have never met a recruiter so unprofessional as a ViacomCBS recruiter.
I applied online. I interviewed at Paramount in Aug 2020
Interview
The recruiter scheduled up a 30 minute zoom interview at 5:00 pm. The interview lasted until 6:45 pm. After that, I was ghosted by the recruiter, despite following up with her twice.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Paramount (Los Angeles, CA) in Oct 2016
Interview
Met recruiter at campus event, then had a phone interview followed by an in person interview. Really negative experience because I found out after the interview through another source that their HR intern wasn't even leaving. They interviewed a lot of people for a position with no opening. unacceptable.
