Applied online in October. Was sent a questionnaire a few weeks later which asked about relevant course work, department/channel of interest, and availability. There were some shifts in the HR department during this time so there were a few delays in hearing back. The new college relations coordinator said he'd think I'd be a good fit for BET and gave me a contact to reach out to. Set up a phone interview with her, was pretty straightforward more like a conversation about my experience, interests, skills, and career goals. She flat out said that she liked me which I wasn't expecting but was thrilled to hear. I received a call a few weeks later from another department head for what turned out to be a surprise follow up interview. She asked all of the same questions and said I'd hear back from Viacom. Heard back about a week later and was offered the internship.
