Interview
After about 2 weeks of applying online I was contacted through email by HR requesting a phone interview. The phone interviewer was very straightforward and friendly, even though I was very nervous. They ask standard questions like "why viacom?" and go over your resume and how you would best fit for the position you applied for. They also ask you what networks you'd be interested in and what are your ultimate career goals. He helped me choose a department and recommended the music and talent division as I said I wanted to have a job with media and artist relations. He said he would forward my resume to their music & talent department and I may hear back from any one of their networks if they liked my resume. From there they will than schedule a skype interview with me to determine whether I receive the internship. Not sure if that was him blowing me off or thats the standard procedure, but it has not been two weeks yet and if I do not hear back from them I will send the HR recruiter an email asking if there are any openings within a different department.
