Paramount Software QA interview questions

I applied to Software QA Intern position and received an email to schedule phone interview. In call I was asked to tell about my past experience, what I am currently doing, etc, no technical questions. I was called onsite interview. It was about an hour or so discussion. A very simple question was given to code. Later I had more general discussion with the team. They did not respond for the interview. When I later emailed them for the status they said they forgot and later I got an email saying they are no more taking for that position, as they don need that position.
