30 minute chat with talent acquisition, 30 minute chat with hiring manager.
The talent acquisition employee was very keen and said they thought I would be a great fit for the role and put me in touch with the hiring manager. I had a 30 minute interview with the hiring manager who told me they would be in touch the next week. They never got in touch. I e-mailed to ask for feedback and the outcome, to which I got an automated reply that they would not be taking my candidacy further. I e-mailed to request some feedback and indication as to why (which I think is reasonable given I had spent over 30 minutes on each interview step) and have received no response.
To me it seems very bad etiquette to have such an impersonal process and not get back to people after phone interview to advise them of the outcome and provide some feedback to take forward. It would put me off working for this company in the future.
