I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Paychex
Interview
Two rounds of interviews. First interview was to go over work experience and ask questions. Second interview
was more technical, I needed to present an architectural diagram, explain it, and answer questions. Total interview time was EIGHT HOURS. I did not get the position, and was told there was an internal hire who got it. I reached out to the HR person and the lead interviewer for a further explanation and got nothing. Duplicitous time wasters- avoid!

Question 1
What was I looking for in terms of a new place to work.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Paychex (Webster, NY) in Jan 2017
Interview
An initial hour long phone screen with hiring manager followed by an afternoon onsite group panel interview session with half a dozen team members. All of the participants had a few pages of scenarios and questions that they took turns asking me. They were scoring my answers as I gave them, including a portion of drawing system designs on the whiteboard.
