I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Paychex (North Reading, MA) in Feb 2016
Interview
Very confusing process and no one seemed to be on the same page. I applied for the DM position. 2 weeks later I was sent an assessment to fill out. Very lengthy and consisted of personality questions, graph analyzing, schedule configuring based on scenarios/time constraints Etc. A few days later I received an email from a recruiter regarding a sales rep position in Chicago. I applied for a DM position in the Boston area. A week after that I was called by a local DM who was interviewing me for a 401k rep position. I stopped him once I realized it and told him that I didn't apply for that. He said that the recruiter I spoke to sent him my info. I never talked to anyone - just received emails. That District Manager told me he would get my application in the right hands. It's been 2 weeks and nothing. Needless to say I wouldn't accept the position if it was offered anyway based on this experience. This is all after I read similar feedback on this site - definitely got it first hand.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Paychex (Atlanta, GA) in Mar 2024
Interview
4 rounds - panels and 1:1 conversations. They did level up interviews, peer interviews and brought in VPs as well. The process was expedited but still took a few weeks to complete all rounds. Waited about a week for a formal offer. Big company but they were agile in the process
I applied online. I interviewed at Paychex (Chicago, IL) in Oct 2023
Interview
Well there were 2 processes. I was connected by the recruiter and screened like normal. She said I would be a great fit and would get me scheduled with the hiring manger. After 2 weeks I reach back out and heard nothing. Now after a month I reached out back to the recruiter stating I was still interested in the company. She promptly, set me up with a different hiring manger. I had 3 interviews with the hiring manger over the course of 2 weeks. She stated she was hiring for 1 role and could be 2. Everything looked great, even coached me on how to handle the up coming interview with her boss. Well 4 weeks later nothing, Finally got one response stating they were working on strategy and to give them a few days. That turned into another 2 weeks. Speaks volumes to their culture. Candidates deserve better.

Standard leadership questions. A lot of fishing for culture fit which is not a bad thing.
