Applied online and they had me come into the office after a quick phone call with the recruiter. Missed a day if work and drove a couple of hours each way to meet with the manager for an interview that might have lasted 15 minutes (which was fine but I just thought it could’ve been done over the phone if that’s all it was going to take). I felt like I connected with the manager, as we had similar backgrounds and she explicitly told me that I would be pushed through for a second round interview to meet with the regional manager. I interviewed on a Monday, the recruiter called me that Friday and said they wouldn’t be continuing with me in the interview process. Not sure what happened, but the manager apparently lied to my face. Extremely disappointed and angry. Happy to not get an offer after this experience.
