      Manager Interview

      Nov 7, 2014
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

      I interviewed at Paycom

      Interview

Recruiter reaches out for a phone interview and then sends a data entry style test to get speed and accuracy benchmark. On site interview is done with a supervisor level then passed for a final interview. Drug test and background checks are the final step. Extremely thorough and challenging but overall a great experience. Recruiter did a great job of walking me through what to expect which each step of the process.

      Manager Interview

      May 15, 2015
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Paycom

      Interview

The interview process was fine, until the end. I have both a management and sales background. I was applying for a management position, but at the end of the interview I was told that I wasn't qualified for the position, but they wanted to interview me for a sales position. Definitely feel like this was a bait and switch.

      Question 1

It was a normal interview, question about myself and going through my resume

As a growing company, we are looking for top talent in many departments. Our recruiting team and managers are well-versed on assessing the skills of candidates to ensure they are placed in the department where they can flourish and often times when we meet talented professionals we discuss multiple options. Out of respect for our candidates’ time, we do our best to explain to them that they might be a better fit in another department. This allows you the option to meet with another manager or to schedule the interview while on-site rather than having to schedule a second trip. Best of luck to you.
