I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Paycor in May 2024
Interview
Applied online and was contacted by a recruiter right away for a phone screen. Honestly the best recruiter I’ve worked with. Very prompt, courteous, and super informative. I then met with the hiring manager and it was a relatively brief informal interview where we just talked about my background. Unfortunately I did not get the role. My only complaint was that the reason I received was that they promoted an internal applicant instead which made me question how seriously I was considered. I know it’s becoming standard for a lot of companies to require interviewing external candidates when they want to promote internally and if this is the case here I hope it’s reconsidered because it’s disheartening to have your time wasted

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Paycor (Cincinnati, OH) in Apr 2024
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter the day after I applied. He was very responsive when trying to set up the phone screen. In our call, he said my skills were a match for the role and the direct leader wanted to meet with me. He said he would get back to me with several options for a second interview. After not hearing anything over the next week, I reached out, but he ghosted me. It was very disheartening considering the interview went very well and I was really excited to speak with direct leader to learn more about the role.

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Paycor (Frisco, TX)
Interview
They scheduled three video meetings. However, the video would not work on my side, as the webpage said it was waiting for the person who set up the meeting to start the meetings. Despite having used my setup many times before, it did not work.

Question 1
The position was both technical and managerial. All the phone interviews questions, except the last, were managerial in nature. The last was focused on an architectural philosophy and direction.
