I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Pearson in Feb 2025
Interview
Step 1: Invited to an informal teams meeting with recruiter. General questions about yourself, the company and your CV. No interview style questions.
Step 2: Face-to-face interview in the office with higher ups. Really friendly staff ask General competency questions and will give prompt questions if you have missed something out. Ask general questions regarding the job description if you are happy with hybrid working etc. The competency questions are worded very formally but expect the same response.
Step 3: Assessments via Teams. First part is to provide two replies to emails from customers. Second part is listening to an example call and pointing out what was good and bad about them, third part is a mock call, given some information about the customers issue just make sure they are happy and resolved at the end.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Pearson (Salfords, England) in Oct 2023
Interview
2 rounds in total - First round is written test, role play and general interview, last for around 1 hour; Second round is competency-based questions, last for 30-40 mins. Interviewers are nice
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Pearson (Manchester, England) in Jun 2022
Interview
Initially saw on vacancy website and applied directly through Pearson.
Three times Pearson messed up my application, from initially rejecting my application despite arranging an interview the day before only to be told it was a system error, then setting incorrect interview times and finally not contacting me when I was told to wait for a phone call by the END OF THE WEEK.
I was not contact via email or phone for THREE WEEKS and had to email the recruiter myself TWICE in order to receive any answers about whether the interview was actually cancelled and to get a final update on the position. The response took a few days, it was short “we’ve decided not to progress your application any further” and lacked any genuine apology.
It’s extremely unprofessional and disrespectful, I cannot recommend this lengthy process to anyone.
