I applied via a recruiter and was invited to a panel-style interview one week later. Two members of the team (one from CS and one from Ops) conducted the interview.
My resume highlighted transferable skills from another industry though the entire panel seemed to be focused on weak points and differences in workflow. Questions were also read from a list, so the flow felt stilted without much room to explain my strengths.
Some comments and faces that were made in response to my answers did make me feel uncomfortable and, at times, disrespected.
Overall, the interview did not feel conversational and I felt like I wasted my time researching the company in preparation. I would recommend that the recruitment team revise their job description to reflect the managers' desire for someone more experienced than what's advertised.
