Despite saying that they're looking for someone ASAP, the role is still being advertised on the website and has been for months. After applying myself, it was over one month before I was reached out to by a Technical Recruiter.
I had a 30 minute conversation with them where I found that it was a bait and switch based on the job description. Aced the technical interview where I then spoke with the Hiring Manager. The interview as a whole was revealing. Peloton isn't experiencing any growth as seen by their stock and admission from the Hiring Manager. Their teams are small and are required to take on the entire international organization. The questions were designed to trip someone up as opposed to seeing how they thought and what processes they were familiar with.
Had I advanced, there were to be five more interviews along with a case study. That's entirely too much for the compensation being offered.
