Day 9: Phone interview with DM

They are very thorough throughout the interview process. The better you know your resume and can speak to your experience/accomplishments the easier it will be. I have been out of college for about 10 years now and they still asked me about my GPA and to provide a transcript to see if I was being truthful (I was told they have eliminated candidates for lying). I don't think it is the number so much they are concerned with as much as they want to know the kind of person they are potentially bringing on board, so answer the question honestly if you are presented with that!

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Pfizer (New York, NY) in Nov 2013
Interview
The questions are very standard from HR. They don't deviate. This keeps the process fair for all applicants. They expect the STAR method answers. There is usually a series or 2-3 interviews. One is a phone screen with a random HR person. Then a face to face with the hiring manager who will then send on his/her two favorite candidates to his/her manager for their opinion. Often the hiring manager will be given autonomy on who to hire but sometimes they feel pressure from their manager...depending on their relationship, etc.
