They asked me to introduce myself and why i would like to apply for this job. they explained the nature of this position and the difficulties that come along with it. the rest of the interview was technical.

Why don't you want to be hired as a teaching assistant in your university?
There were 3 stage hiring process including an online Aptitude test with two rounds of interview. The first stage was a phone interview by the HR team. There were then 2 more rounds of interview after the online Aptitude test. However, don't let that disencourage from applying.
