Received a phone call to interview within 24hrs of applying online. The person I spoke with was from the hiring department, not HR, and didn't offer any details on the position (this should have been a red flag).
Had a casual interview with 3 people in the department and everything went well. Received a request a week later to created a presentation, based around 2 questions; this was for a non-technical position that turned out to be extremely entry-level, so this should have been another red flag. This went well and they told me they'd submit my information to the HR Dept. for an offer.
I received a generic automated email from the company nearly a month later saying they were not interested in an interview. The entire process was very bizarre and gives the impression that department leadership is either disorganized, unqualified, unprofessional or all three.
