      Oil Refinery Operator Interview

      Jan 18, 2016
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Los Angeles, CA
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Phillips 66 (Los Angeles, CA) in Nov 2015

      Interview

It was an all day interview from 0600 to 1800 which included three phases. The first phase included a welcome briefing by company representatives from the HR members, Safety representatives and the operations manager. They gave an overview of the company along with certain details regarding their area of expertise and how it related to the interviewees. Next, there was three hour test which was actually three tests; like an aptitude test. They were mechanical word and number problems, situation problems and safety problems. After the testing they served us lunch followed by a panel interview.
