Pie Insurance Senior Software Engineer interview questions

The interview was fully remote due to COVID restrictions. I had a prescreening call with a technical recruiter from Pie and was phoned the next day to schedule a panel interview for the following week. The initial interview was about an hour of panel questions with were focused primarily around architecture and design proceeding some quick questions trying to gauge my experience level. There was a coding exercise after the panel interview conducted over coder pad; It was one of those "interactive" coding interviews, which really means ask lots of clarifying questions and describe what you're doing. the interviewers were very communicative and we wrapped up the problem. There was a second technical interview - this one about 3 hours long. The first bracket was speaking with the head of product and a principal engineer (behavioral). Second was another coding exercise (technical) and finally a third round of behavioral questions mixed with technical discussion. I heard back with an offer the following week.

HR interview over phone however I got distracted with some background noises on other side. Response back was very quick and THANK YOU for doing that so we don't get left with hope. Overall good experience.
