Pier 1 Imports Sales Associate/Cashier interview questions

They called me and there was a very basic interview. They told me that they were not currently hiring. However, they said that they would consider me in the future if they ever needed anyone. It is unfortunate that they shut down because I would have liked this job and I really liked their products

Interviews are done in a group; mine included two others and myself. You are asked to pick an item from the store and hold onto it. Once you get into the back office for the interview, you are asked to try to sell item to the interviewer. Follow up questions include previous employment and how you would handle certain situations with customers.
