I applied online. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Pinterest
Interview
One of the more drawn out recruitment proccesses I've experienced - 7 weeks in total. Communication was okay, but somewhat sparse so I was left wondering what was happening a lot of the time. After 5 interviews I just recieved the stock-standard rejection email which ironically had something in there about how my skills didn't align with the "strategic direction" of the business. As someone who's hired staff, you generally have an idea of that from looking at a person's CV - or at least after the first interview, not five down the line. I would suggest not putting candidates through meeting a cross-section of the business if you have a fair idea that they're not going to be the right fit. All in all, if the recruitment process is aligned to how the company runs on the inside, I think I dodged a bullet. Not quite as shiny as it appears. I was even told there would be a follow up email where I could rate the recruitment process, after many months nothing has appeared in my inbox.
