Stupid company... called for Interview back in December'17 .. took 3 f/f rounds after 1 Telephonic .. went silent (even after Junior HR telling me I had reached final stage of selection) for 3 weeks and upon following up I was told that the Role/position has been dissolved
Again after 4 months consultant / junior HR calls me for another similar openings in Strategy / Ops and conducted 3 telephonic Interviews with Senior members of Strategy team
1 week later Junior HR tells me that I am selected and asks me my expectation / notice period for making me an Offer
Since that time it is again 2 months with no reply whatsoever after multiple follow ups
Advice to HR

a. If you are not sure about the position / role don't call candidates and create unneccessary expectations
b. In case you are calling candidates and conducting Interview rounds spanning more than a month please update the final status (yes /no whatever is the answer) instead of keeping candidates in the dark
