      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

It was a pretty standard interview without all the crazy hypthetical questions. Mostly they want to know that you are a trustworthy person who is a great cultural fit. The culture is one of total respect for all people even when you disagree.

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Pluralsight (Farmington, UT) in Aug 2016

      Interview

I applied for the position, and about 2 weeks later I got a an invite for a phone interview. I set up an interview, but when the day came for the interview, I never got a call. After about another week of trying to get ahold of the recruiter, they placed a different person in charge of the position. I shortly afterward got the phone interview and about a week later had an in person interview. The in person interview was a bit tough and intimidating, but nothing too crazy. After the interview I got a tour of the facility, which is an incredibly place. I didn't up getting the job due to my lack of Account Management experience, but they were very kind about everything.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Pluralsight (Farmington, UT) in Sep 2015

      Interview

I applied on LinkedIn and was contacted the following week on Monday. She interviewed me on the phone and then told me they wanted to interview asap, same day if possible, so I took PTO and came in same-day. I interviewed with two department managers who were friendly. Interview went well it seemed and one of them walked me around the building and showed me around. I asked what the process was from there on out and he said they would be getting back to me in a couple weeks but that if I didn't hear back in 3 weeks, to reach out. I sent a follow-up email on that same day to thank them for the interview. The HR manager/recruiter responded to my thank you email a whole 2 weeks later and said she would forward it along and "keep me updated as we move along with this position." I thought to myself oh okay, looks like they are still making their decision. That was the last I ever heard from them. At 3 weeks, I sent in another follow up email since the manager had told me to check back if I hadn't heard anything in 3 weeks. Got no response. As I write this interview, it has been 5 weeks since my initial interview and I never heard back. I was told in my interview that they had 100+ applicants and I can see that their job position is still open on their website... very strange and I completely understand if they hired someone else but telling someone they will "keep you updated" and then ignoring a follow-up email is very unprofessional. I will update this review if I finally get contacted but it seems extremely doubtful at this point.
