I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Pluralsight in Feb 2022
Interview
I had an initial conversation with my recruiter 2/8. The conversation went well and I was informed I would also need to take online assessments, but would be able to move forward in the interview process. I initially did not get the links and had questions about how I accessed the assessments, as the only instructions I got from the recruiter were tips on how to take them, not access steps. I reached out for help, but did not get a reply. I then received an email from the assessment company with a link to take them. After completing them, I emailed my recruiter to thank them and let them know I had completed them and looked forward to the next steps. I did not get any reply. I have since also emailed to confirm my results were received and have heard nothing back. From a prospective “new employee” perspective, it’s quite disappointing to feel as though no one is working with you through this process. I have not received anything saying I am no longer being considered, so I can only assume my app is still in process, but since I was told I would be moving forward to at least meet with the manager, I would have assumed the recruiter would reply to me. I am currently still interested in speaking to the hiring manager about the position and being considered if I am a good fit, but the interview process has been a disappointment.

I applied online. A recruiter contacted me via email to schedule a chat but that fell through. I just assumed maybe a candidate was selected before we got a chance to touch base, but I was pleasantly surprised when a corporate recruiter followed up and rescheduled. So far I've spoken with the corporate recruiter and the hiring manager. Both conversations were informative and positive. I'm in the early stages of the interview process, but based on the interactions I've had so far, I've had a positive experience.

Question 1
I was asked about my thought process (specifically as it pertains to the role responsibilities).

Interview
Completed 2 online assessments before being contacted by the recruiter for a screening call. She did not call at the scheduled time but contacted me a week later with apologies. We rescheduled the screening. Recruiter called me and asked very brief questions and seemed generally uninterested. I got the feeling that the position was already filled and asked if that was the case. I was told that it was not. A few days later I received an email that the position had been filled.

Interview
The recruiter reached out to me the same day I submitted my application. To proceed to the next step, I took the CCAT which wasn't so bad. Next was the face to face (virtually). I'm still currently waiting to hear about my status, but it was good overall

Question 1
I can't specifically remember any, which made it a pretty standard interview. Jeff was very kind and easy to speak with.
