Point72 Analyst interview questions

My interview experience for this role was disappointing. The interviewer appeared disengaged throughout the conversation and at times sounded irritated or defensive when I asked reasonable questions about the scope and expectations of the position. There was a noticeable lack of clarity around the role’s responsibilities, reporting structure, and success metrics. Responses to direct questions were vague and did not provide a concrete understanding of what the job actually entails. This made it difficult to assess fit or prepare meaningful responses. Additionally, several interview questions lacked context or a clear objective, which made the discussion feel unstructured and unfocused. An interview should be a professional, two-way dialogue. Candidates deserve clarity, transparency, and engagement. Unfortunately, this experience did not reflect that standard.

Greetings, brief warmup questions including stuff about the firm and basic experience, going through resume and linkedin, then go into the proper question set which included some questions on current affairs, hedging strategies, sector specific questions etc
