I submitted my resume and received a same day reply that stated I was qualified and they wanted me to take their online tests. It made sense, I had built enablement programs for nearly two decades for five well know tech and K12 eLearning companies. I am also a certified DiSC and Myers-Briggs personality trainer. I completed the timed aptitude test that night and the received an email a day later that they had moved on.
My advice for anyone who has dyslexia like myself or other learning challenges that make timed testing difficult, you will be at a disadvantage within their selection process. I can't alter my dyslexia but I have proven my skillset with past actions which their hiring manager will never learn. If the decision was made instead because my personality profile results did not fit into their idea of what that role's traits should be, is this company really interested in diversity? Ask yourself, is it worth interviewing for a company that highlights how humble they are and interested is learning but has a desire to create a test-based, homogenized organization?
