Honestly, one of the most professional interviewing experiences I have ever had.
One of their TA reached out to me on Linkedin asking if I was interested in SDR role based in Dubai to cover European territory. I acknowledged interest in the company but I made it clear that given my 14 years of experience in tech sales, SDR role wouldn't be the right move for my career!! Then I thought I would never hear back. Few days later, the same TA reached out again and said we have an opening for an Account Director role and asked if I was interested.
I expressed my interest in that role and she immediately booked an initial screening call with one of their sales leadership, which went well. Then I had another meeting with the VP which went even better, a while later I had another meeting with the SVP which was slightly more intense and sophisticated but also went great. Later I met the VP in person in Dubai Office and talked for almost 2 hours about the expectations for this role and if we both are a good fit for each other. A week later I met the SVP in person as well, this meeting was much more friendlier than our first meeting. About 2 weeks later, I received the offer letter.
