The first Interviewer was 15 minutes late to the interview. It was very awkward sitting in the fish bowl conference space with all of the employees being able to look at you as they worked or walked by. The office is expanding exponentially so the messy nature and activity was understandable. The interview itself, contrary to most reviews on here, did not feel like a casual conversation. Each interviewer brought in a notebook with notes and questions written down from which they read like a script. Typical interview questions about leadership, name a time you did blank, and conflict resolutions made the entire situation feel like they were just checking boxes rather than really trying to get a feel for if I would have been a good fit for the culture. I went into the interview hoping that it would be a natural conversation to get to know each other but it just wasn't. I tried to get over the first interviewer being late but it left a bad taste in my mouth throughout the rest of the interview. Overall I still think this would be a great company to work for. Maybe the interviewer was just having and off day or something, who knows. I will be applying again but for a different position in the future. These guys are doing some monumental things for the construction industry.
