There were a total of 6 interviews, one spanning two hours with 4 different managers/team. I was asked to prepare a 30 minute PowerPoint presentation for the final interview. I was told I would hear back within 2-3 weeks. I sent a simple and friendly follow-up email to the recruiter about a week and a half after. The next day I got an impersonal, automatic email letting me know they wouldn’t be moving forward with my application. I think after the amount of time and effort I was asked to contribute to the process, it’s offensive that someone could not reach out personally to let me know if their decision.
