Having conducted many interviews personally in addition to interviewing at some of the very well known tech organizations I really hope what I say next resonates with any would be applicants. I have never in my life gone through an interview process that was so well orchestrated, executed upon and above all was just extremely fun for the inner nerd in me.
From my initial point of contact, the very well planned trip which consisted of a few additional days in the amazing Santa Barbara area on the beach, to the actual interview felt more like someone had planned a mini vacation for me. I often find reviews to be falsified, well I can tell you within 45 minutes of my interview I knew the passion was genuine at Procore. I met with a summation of about 12 individuals, some from taking a tour of the campus and individuals were so eager to show me what they were working on.
Procore is a highly technical organization, there is no question about it they are looking for qualified candidates. Having said that their culture is bar none and they do everything they can to make sure this culture is preserved, technicalities can be taught, the passion, hunger, and desire to learn cannot and I personally believe this is what Procore is looking for. Expect an interview to consist of meeting many individuals making sure that you align with their cultural beliefs. If you have a desire to push yourself, be surrounded by individuals that are so eager to have fun while working, and above all are ready to push yourself outside of your comfort zone then you will love this interview.
