Interview
whole process took almost a month. applied online, had to do an assessment which is just based on personality questions then received an email to set up phone interview. the chick who does phone interviews is really nice. after phone interview got told to set up faxe to face interview. had one person just asking STAR questions and thry offered the job to me a week later. background check is necessary and they really do some digging on your life but if everything's accurate shouldn't be a problem.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Progressive Insurance (Savannah, GA) in Jan 2016
Interview
Online assessment, followed by phone interview then in-person interview. S.T.A.R. format questions. Online research was really helpful to learn about the STAR format (situation/task, action, result). I enjoyed speaking with the recruiters online. The in- person interviewer was a nice man, but tended to look around the room, etc.while I was speaking - he also wrote "scores" for each question as the interview was taking place which was VERY distracting. I would recommend going forward that he do that step after the fact ( and just make notes). I have to say that overall I was impressed with the organized hiring process. As someone who has done quite a bit of interviewing and hiring of candidates, I liked how much you can learn about someone using the STAR format and might use this in future positions.
