- STAR method very important, the questions I found online from other applicant’s experience ended up being mostly different than the ones I was asked. You get one retry for each of the 8 questions. 30 or 45 seconds to prepare your answer after seeing the question and 3 minutes to record each answer.
- Why do you want to work for progressive?
- Briefly describe your work history, why you left each role and how your experience would be a good fit for this position.
- Of the work tasks or projects, you have had in the last 5 years, what aspects did you like most and why? What aspects of your work tasks or projects did you like least and why?
- Tell me about a time you dealt with a demanding customer. How were you able to solve their problem in a way that exceeded their expectations? Please describe the situation, your actions, and the results. How did you know what would exceed their expectations?
- Provide a situation in which you exhibited excellent time management from one of your previous work experiences.
- Tell me about a situation in your current or previous role in which you needed to make an important decision quickly but were faced with conflicting information from multiple sources. Please describe the situation, your actions, and the results of your final decision.
- Describe a time you had to learn something new in order to accomplish a task either at work or school.

- Some people have mentioned being interviewed by more than one person. There was only one interviewer in my interview. Lasted probably 50-55 minutes.
- Interviewer went over the position as well as their experience and various positions at the company. They then proceeded to ask 4 or 5 behavioral based questions similar to those asked in the pre-recorded video interview.
- Why do you want to work for Progressive/how does your work history align with the company and this position’s responsibilities?
- Describe a time you had a difficult customer and how you managed the situation.
- Describe a time you had a miscommunication with a customer/coworker.
- Tell me about a time you had to negotiate, specifically when you had to compromise.
- What did you like most about your recent work experiences, what did you like least? (They ended up basically asking this same question again later with slightly different wording, so try to be ready to have alternative responses to some questions)
- Wrapped up with time to ask any questions I had for them and then and then explained it would be 7-10 business days for a decision response.

You need to religiously follow each step of the STAR format when answering questions and be specific explaining how YOU handled such situation.
