I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Protiviti in Oct 2018
Interview
I applied for a summer consulting internship in Dallas through my university job board. My interview was held in person on campus and had two parts: 1) case interview, 2) behavioral interview.
Case interview: Given general background a couple nights before. At the beginning of the interview, I was given additional facts and had a little bit of time to read everything over and organize my thoughts. The interviewer was really nice and pretty much walked me through what they wanted to know - what the main issues were, the root of those issues, and how Protiviti could help address those issues. My interviewer would ask follow up questions to steer me in the right direction if I got off track. We had some time at the end, so I got to ask the interviewer some questions.
The recruiter got back to me after about a week and invited me for an office visit. Had my final round of interviews there with a senior employee. Very conversational if not a little intense, but that's because of my interviewer's personality. They also had us do some group work of giving a presentation pitch to a potential client.
Office visit happened second week of October (about 2 weeks of interview process), and I was offered an internship position at the beginning of November. Overall a very good experience - everyone was really friendly and professional.

Colloquio con HR che prima ha illustrato la posizione e poi ha fatto delle domande. Non ho effettuato altri step perché il mio periodo di disponibilità non era compatibile con le loro esigenze
Phone screening with HR, followed by a final round with a two-part behavioral/case interview. Final round focused on tying experiences back to the firm's values and process-based case designed to see how you think. Very straightforward.
