HR person and screening was among the best ever encountered. But it ended up being a panel interview, with 5 people, so the interview format deviated markedly from the agenda pre-published by the HR resource because of this. But that wasn't the weirdest part. One person in the interview asked some of the most irrelevant questions encountered in 25 years. "Describe how you would explain database architecture to a 6 year old." Left me wondering, are you guys hiring 6 year olds into management? Or is that just their mental age, or perhaps YOUR mental age? Actually, that wasn't all that weird either, what IS weird is that the word "database" or database topics in general are NOT EVEN IN THE JOB DESCRIPTION. You should really avoid this company, there are severe cultural issues here that need to be addressed with terminations. I called the HR contact after leaving the site and withdrew. NEVER done that before in 30 year career. This is a stifling, unenlightened environment devoid of growth opportunity, professional courtesy, or any signs of innovation.
