The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at PwC (New York, NY) in Nov 2011
Interview
I got the interview request through a campus recruiting system. Had the candidates come to a pre-interview networking event where we got to meet our interviewers, luckily mine was exceptionally nice. Anyway, the next day consisted of 2 one-on-one interviews which were essentially completely personality evaluations. After a week or so I was invited to the New York office for my second round and a few weeks after that we attended a super day (which was really only 3 hours). This consisted of a couple presentations and then two more interviews with partners. Again, mostly personal but this time it got a little more technical, nothing unmanageable.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Simple things such as giving examples of projects or team ventures and their outcomes. I was interviewing for an intern position so they did have much to ask on the difficult side.
Interviewer was really sweet. Asked basic questions about my resume. Be prepared to go into depth about the how, why, and result of each experience. Felt like a relaxed conversation. Case Interview was hyper specific to the sector I was applying to. But they give you time to think and be sure to explain the thought process behind every answer.
The interview lasted approximately 60 minutes and covered an introduction about myself, discussions on my past experiences, and a mini case study to assess my analytical thinking and problem-solving approach.
The entire process of smooth and I received feedback from the recruiter, and the interviews were promptly set up. I had a great conversation with all of the interviewers involved and felt like they generally cared about me and my future at PWC if I decided to join the team.
