Interview
2 technical rounds and 1 managerial round. if it is for embedded developer role then questions will be on C programming and Linux internals in deep. In both the round you will be asked your experience and after that C programming concepts and some codes. Mostly codes will be bitwise operation problems and on linked list. And for Linux internals you will be asked IPCs, locking mechanisms, memory management ..etc

1. what is top half and bottom half and how this works 2. interrupt handling in linux 3. what is virtual memory and how it will mapped to physical memory 4. Boot process 5. Process and threads 6. IPC - message passing, shared memory, Pipe 7. Major number and minor number 8. Device tree 9. insmode and modeprob difference 10. static and dynamic linking 11. static and dynamic loading of drivers 12. differences between system call and function call 13. differnce between mutex and binary semaphore 14. Write a code to set range of bits in given byte 15. write a code to print even and odd numbers till given number using 2 thread. one thread will print the even and another will print the odd numbers. (note- this will be on multiprocessor environment. Try to avoid race condition here )

1. dsa two qns from hacker rank (1 easy and 1 medium) and projects
2. dsa 1 qn (medium) and a api read and manipulate qns from hacker rank

Interview
HR & Technical, pretty standard. There was a few coding questions, and the interviewer was helpful and they were trying to help clarify the questions. HR was helpful and made a lot of customizations for me
2 rounds with both technical and focusing on computer architecture and performance. risc related questions and how to improve the performance on superscalar computers. the interviewer did not expect full answer but expected to know the basics about superscalar
