Unfortunately, the interview process was fractured and dysfunctional. First was the pre screen with a recruiter. the second was a phone screen with a VP, and the third was a phone screen with the former CEO of an acquired company. After receiving positive feedback from both the recruiter and one of the execs we were preparing to schedule an in person interview. However, several weeks later, the recruiter claimed that there was a problem with my phone number, and "some things did not line up?"
