Applied the last day and it took one week to get an answer.
3 stages: 1st is a phone interview, to verify that you have the requirements (legal authorisation to work...), explain the program and get to know your interest in it.
2nd videoconference, questions like: what did you understand about the program, why apply, then behavioural questions. Be sure to give different kind of exemple that show the experience you have (work, school group project, volunteering...)
3rd face to face interview with a comity. Haven't done it yet.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How did you overcome a problem? How do you set goals for yourself?
it was not a very good experience and sounded like a bit of an odd program to be involved in. poorly organized. not very professional process. was given offer from a 1-800 call centre in trinidad instead of an actual manager
Fairly easy interview process for a competitive program. They hire based on personality and character, rather than what you studied/previous experience. They're looking for people who are independent but also have a great team attitude. The holistic approach is good especially if you're a new grad and you're repeatedly told that "you don't have enough experience".
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at RBC (Ottawa, ON) in Feb 2017
Interview
There were three stages in the interview process
1) We were asked to write an essay to our younger self giving advice about transitioning to the workplace
2) Web based behavioural interview which could be scheduled at your convenience.
3) Panel group interview with finalists for the position
