I applied online through the company's website and it was about one-week later I was scheduled for a phone interview. The phone interview was scheduled by an email confirmation from a recruiter in the Houston area.

Question 1
It was a basic qualifying type interview. Went over my resume and experience and wanted to know why I left my previous employer. Was told I would hear back in a few days about the next steps. I followed up a couple of times through email and said I was still interested in the position and wanted to know if I was still being considered.

Interview
Through an internal referal I was working directly with a McGladrey recruiter. Within 1 month of the process starting I was contact to interview. The interview consisted for 1:1 interviews with 4 different people in the department I would be working for. The interview seemed to be more of them selling the firm rather than having much to do with me. I was offered a position approximately 2 weeks later.
