The interview process began with a phone meeting. The phone meeting was held by the Director of Business Development. During this phone interview, we walked through my resume and then spent the majority of the time discussing an opportunity with one of the firm's clients. The next step of the interview process included an office interview. The office interview was held in the firm's McLean, VA office. The office interview included 3 different sessions. The first session was a continuation of the phone interview had with the Director of Business Development where we talked more in detail about my experiences. I was able to ask questions about the firm and the direction of the practice I was joining. Next, I met with partner of the related practice. The meeting with the partner was very interesting. He was very transparent about what he has been tasked to do and thought that I could be an integral part in his success. Lastly, I met with a Human Resource representative that spoke very general about the firm and presented me with an offer on the spot.
