RTI International Proposal Development Internship interview questions

Applied online for the internship position on January 10th and was moved forward to an informal phone screening on Zoom the next week. The person interviewing me didn’t ask me any questions about my background, just went over the role. I was told at the end of the interview that I was being pushed forward to a panel interview and I was told to choose a date that worked best for me, and after I chose a date/time for the panel interview I received an automated email that said they actually weren’t moving forward—no explanation given.
