I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at RaceTrac (Atlanta, GA) in Sep 2020
Interview
Applied online as my experience matched up with the role. A recruiter from Racetrac reached out to me and we set up a pre-screen.
Pre-screen was pretty standard, seemed like a decent role.
However, their salary requirements for the role were way below market rate, especially since the job required at least a year of prior experience. Even maintaining the same salary at my current entry-level role was too much for them! And my current salary is a lower, entry-level salary.
Good luck trying to fill this role if you're going to offer almost nothing in terms of pay or benefits, you cheapskates!
After the pre-screen the recruiter then gave my info to the team but they weren't interested. Wouldn't be surprised if it was because of salary.
Sorry! If you want someone who has BOTH operational job experience and experience in the fuel industry, at least pay me the same as I'm currently making! (which is pretty low already). Especially when the role has some pretty big shoes to fill. No wonder the turnover rate is so high!
Pass!
