So far i felt the interview process is going good
nothing issue with the overall process
The process takes about 1 month with 2 round interviews as I applied graduate section. the interview process is in English. Very smooth process and the interviewer is very friendly.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Rakuten (Tokyo) in Mar 2023
Interview
I had two interviews. The first one is an interview with the technical team, discussing my knowledge of the role. The second Interview, it's more like a fit and proper test: checking if you are fit for your potential boss. To my surprise, the one that interviewed me was from another division(?) so I cannot leave a good impression on him (I was confused about how I am supposed to show that I have knowledge about the division if the interviewer is from another division). but maybe it's only an issue from my side. Anyway, the results came very fast so hats off to the HR team.
