Interview
First they will short list you by your resume after that there will be an online test of 1 hour with two leetcode type questions after you passed that there will be technical round in technical round there will be two manager who are going to ask you questions from you experience and projects after that they might ask you to solve two or three leetcode type questions and this interview will take 1 hour after that there will be final interview where they ask you why you want to join rakuten I have given final interview i got rejected and I don't know why they don't give feedback which i consider bad

Interview
Overall it was nice. Recruiter was responsive and the managers were knowledgeable and kind. There were only two interviews where I talked to two senior engineering managers. I found it hard for me to know the work culture and team dynamics there since I only talked to senior management people, not the actual engineers.

Question 1
1. Codility was a hard math question, which was weird and I thought I didn't pass, but I did. 2. Technical interview with an engineering manager and a senior manager from Japan. Overall it was very easy and only one easy leetcode question was asked. I solved it very fast and the managers seemed satisfied. 3. Behavioural interview with another engineering manager. No technical questions, and was asked about some questions on my tech interest, leadership experiences, etc. Overall was easy and the interviewer seemed to like me. I found it surprising that I was rejected in the end and when I asked for feedback, there was only positive feedback and no negative feedback. I am guessing it is due to some headcount or visa eligibility issue since this position is based in Singapore and I am applying as a foreign worker. Not sure about this tho.
