The interview process was smooth and well organized. The final interview was conducted in English with senior leadership. The questions were friendly and focused more on communication and experience rather than difficult technical topics, creating a comfortable atmosphere overall.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Rakuten Symphony (Tokyo) in Jul 2025
Interview
It was a preliminary screener interview. They replied within a week of me applying. I surmised it was due to myself having worked in CPaaS startup before. It was through google meet. An HR person waited when i joined and we waited for the actual technical interviewer to join in from India
In the end the tech interviewer said i would receive an invite for a technical task which never arrived and only then after a week i understood i mouthed off too much (maybe about another well known telco company). They only sent a confirmation 2.5 weeks after that initial screener that i would not be receiving the tech task. It is what it is
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Not technical questions because it was a screener

There were no telco/rtc/sip/protocol/etc questions
